  It was two beautiful weeks in my sport career! Even, thou they were full of stress and constant travel around the world, which was very hard for me! European Championship in Sheffield, where I’ve won silvermedal individually was fallowed by two gold medals at the Olympic World Army Games in Rio de Janeiro! (I will write later about Rio).

Silver is like Gold to me!

I worked very hard to get that medal. I always kept telling myself:the more pain and tears in training, less blood on the strip J

My last individual medals were a European Championships (Gold) in2004 and World Championship (bronze) in 2003. During last seven lean years I had three chances to stand on the podium of a Championship event. In 2007 Turin (World Championship 2006) I lost 13-15 in the bout for Bronze, in Izmir Turky (European Championship 2008 I lost12-15 to get to Best Four and in a Koblenz Germany (European Championship 2010) again 13-15 for Top Four. In the meantime, as a part of the Team I’ve got gold European Championship event in 2008 and silver in 2006. But that is history and now I create a new one.

I would like to thank my club coaches: Mr.Peter Stroka and Mark Gniewkowski, my team head coach Mr. Andrew Molatta and to Ed Korfanty, with whom I practice every day in Portland.

Straight from the European Championship in Sheffield UK I flew for the Olympics World Army Games in Rio de Janeiro. Next morning right after my European team event, where we got fifth place, I was already on a plane and arrived at the Olympic village at midnight local time. I was so glad to reach my destination, I took a shower in an icy coldwater (temporarily there was no hot water), and went to sleep because the tournament was on first thing next morning.

July 19th was a golden day for me. I won the Worldwide Army Olympic Games and defended my Victory from the 2010 Military World Championship in Venezuela.

I Won not only with my opponents, but with myself and with thefatigue from Sheffield’s event few days earlier.

July 23th was my second gold day!

My team friends Bogna Jozwiak and Irena Więckowska and I competed very well in the final team match against China and once again defended title from last year’s Military World Championships in Venezuela bringing home Gold.
